idkchat lets you create a chat assistant for your website. It answers from the content you provide and collects contact details when a visitor wants a person. It is provided as-is: we work to keep it fast and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that every AI answer is correct — AI answers are generated from your content and should be reviewed like any automated output.
Where the platform provides AI answers on its own keys, they are metered as prepaid credits. One completed answer consumes one credit — to a visitor, or to you in Ask IDK — as do extras such as learning a page or optimizing your content; failed answers are refunded automatically. Credits have no cash value, aren't redeemable, and a bot with an empty balance keeps working as a contact form. Bots configured with your own AI key or a local model don't use credits.
Don't use idkchat to spam, harvest data, mislead visitors, break the law, or probe the platform's security. We may suspend bots or accounts doing that.
Your bot's content, visitor records and transcripts are yours. Export or archive them from the dashboard whenever you like; to have them erased, ask us through the chat on our contact page. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, idkchat's liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
If these terms change materially, account holders are notified by email before the change takes effect.
